Angeleta Thornton

Angeleta Thornton is the voice behind the Christian novel, Standing at a Crossroad, a story that powerfully explores God’s redemptive power, the power of love, the resilience of friendship, and the genuine complexities of faith.

Her fiction is born from a life rich with experience, drawing on her memories and triumphs as a pastor’s wife, dedicated church leader, and mother of five boys—three of whom are on the autism spectrum. This background fuels her mission: to craft authentic stories that are both deeply relatable and spiritually impactful. Angeleta approaches the world with a deep sensitivity and vivid imagination, translating her observations into nuanced, heartfelt narratives.

As a trained fine artist (Morgan State University Fine Arts major, with work featured at Gormley Gallery and Artscape 2024), she brings a visually and emotionally rich artistic voice to her prose.

When not creating, Angeleta finds joy in leading worship, staying active through hiking and gym workouts (a nod to her past as a fitness instructor), and unwinding with a compelling suspense movie. Dive deeper into the themes of her book with the accompanying resource, Standing at a Crossroad: A Readers Guide for Deeper Reflection.
